Welcome to the Voice Newsletter for April 2016. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for your wonderful support.
Whether you contribute to Dunlea Centre financially or support our activities in person or in spirit, our work simply wouldn’t be possible without you.
Thanks to you, we achieved a lot last year and will continue to work hard to help young people and their families become who they want to become. Of course, there is still a lot to do and this year we will be focusing on the launch of our Day Program. We believe it’s a great initiative and welcome any form of support or sponsorship opportunities. Finally, if you know of a young person who would benefit from taking part in one of our programs, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Thank you again!

Double Anniversary Celebrations!
November 2015 was an exciting time of celebrations. An open day marked a special anniversary – 75 years of Dunlea Centre proudly supporting troubled young people and their families.
Club Engadine Dedicated To Improving Lives
We would like to acknowledge and thank the fantastic support the Dunlea Centre received courtesy of Engadine RSL and Citizens Club Limited, as part of the ClubGrants funding opportunity.
Dunlea Centre’s Executive Director’s Note
Dunlea Centre is grateful to all the supporters, young people, and their parents and carers who have made 2015 another successful year. We are appreciative for the commitment of all concerned because without your help and support, we would not be able to continue to guide and assist many young people in making positive changes in their lives
Celebrating Another Great Year With Our Young People And Their Families
At the end of term, each of our units host a special family event to celebrate all their hard work. It’s also an opportunity to showcase and share the progress our young people have made over the course of the year with their families and carers.
Surfing With Lilly Pollard
Recently the Maria Unit spent a day out surfing with Lilly Pollard, a world-class boogie board rider. Lilly has been body boarding since she was a teenager and has travelled extensively competing on the world circuit for the past 15 years.
A Place For Positive Change
We spoke to Kate McLaren, Family Services Manager, about Dunlea Centre’s program which helps more than 50 young people every year.
